Character. A quality French gravel event on the limestone plateaus around Millau. Fast, stony gravel over rolling plateau terrain with deep river gorge descents. Strong European amateur gravel community event.

Conditions. French June: 18–26 °C, dry limestone plateau, fast-drying surface, low humidity.

Lube plan

If you wax — ZFC-recommended path. Dry French limestone gravel is forgiving on drivetrains. Top-tier wax pre-event, no top-up needed for the 195 km unless you're at the slow end of the field.

If you're on oil — pragmatic equivalent. Dry conditions suit most oils well. Apply pre-event, carry a small bottle as insurance. 195 km of dry French gravel is achievable on one application.
